Marriages that took place between 1763 and 1900 have been kept in records by the Illinois State Archives in collaboration with the Illinois State Genealogical Society. This was in effort to preserve the historical public marriage documents of Illinois residents. Over 1 million of such files can be found which due to the efforts of these two entities, are they accessible by the public.
This public service is meant to be easily available to users in general and that has been greatly boosted with the advent of the Internet. People can now obtain free marriage records information online without having to leave home or office, saving a great deal of time and costs in travelling and waiting in line. They only have to get onto a computer and log on to the Internet.
Predominantly, the contents of these records are obtained directly from the Country Clerk’s original listings. Such contents include the license, certificate and marriage register. In addition, private organizations and county Genealogical societies also contribute publications in this regard. All in all, the index spoken of earlier is overseen by the Illinois State Archives.

Pick #1) One of our favorites, the “Contentment” Calla Lily Porcelain Cake Topper is very traditional. It depicts the bride and groom on the “big day”, and the love that the couple has for each other is clearly depicted by the bride’s hand upon the groom’s face. Note the groom as he holds his new bride’s waist. The bride is elegantly dressed in a strapless wedding gown, and the groom is handsomely dressed in tux and tails. Complimenting the design is a handmade bouquet of calla lillies. The specifications of this traditional piece are:

Corporate photography comes within the larger sphere of commercial photography. However, the sphere of corporate photography is quite large and a person practising it must be highly proficient in his art.
The difference between corporate photography and other types of commercial photography are numerous. For instance, in other forms of photography, the photographer gets the opportunity to re-shoot the photographs by asking for retakes or by using different angles, but in corporate photography there is no such freedom. That is why it is critical to engage someone who can do the job well.
Corporate events can have changes in event schedules and the photographer has to be prepared for the surprises. He should know how to think rationally and sensibly so that he can act promptly. Corporate photography requires attentiveness, quick performance and a high level of awareness on part of the photographer.
A critical activity included in a corporate photographer’s job profile is clicking headshots of the high-ranking business executives at an event. These headshots might be required for the organisation’s archives or for circulation in the media. The photographer must therefore be especially good at this.

Planning a wedding is a huge undertaking. There are so many details to think about and so much work to be done. One of the most essential parts of the planning process is your reception. There are many things to think about when constructing that portion of your event, and one of the most important is the music.
There are different ways to bring music into your reception but the two most common ways would be to use a DJ or a wedding band. The wedding band is usually the more popular choice between the two and it is something that you will want to give a lot of thought.
The first thing that you should do when you are looking for a wedding band is to try to catch them performing. In general most bands typically have public gigs outside of private events so check with them on these so that you can try to take in a performance. Additionally, you may also want to ask them if they have a demo CD or preferably a video for you to take a look at. This will give you an idea of whether this band is a good fit for your wedding reception.
