Can Your Wedding Gown Totally Meet All Of Your Expectations?

Friday, February 5th, 2010

The bridal gown is the top priority for most girls when it comes to their wedding. Everything else might be perfect but if the dress doesn’t cut the mustard, then it’s pointless. So what do you do if you’ve searched high and low and yet you cannot find that dream wedding dress?

Well, when it comes to the crunch, and you really know what you want but it isn’t available at any bridal store or on the internet (yes some people do buy their wedding gowns online), you will just need to design your own gown. You will need to bite into a large chunk of your savings to find a wedding gown designer that will deliver a quality dress that will meet your expectations.

On the bright side, at least you’re getting a gown that you know nobody else has, and comes custom-made to exactly how you like it to be. Every single detail, decided by you, isn’t that just grand?

If you haven’t got the resources to fund this dream gown of yours, you might have to sacrifice and do without a few other additions to your wedding like, forsaking the ice sculptures or that twelve-foot wedding cake.

Brides Maid Dresses - What Exactly To Look For!

Wednesday, December 9th, 2009

For the last several years I’ve been a quite successful wedding planner for all types of weddings. The most important part in my books is making sure the Brides Maids complement the colors of the bride along with the wedding overall.

We need to make sure you mesh with the wedding gown and no feathers are being ruffled at all. So, just make sure you and the blushing bride are stuck together like glue as far as the color choices regarding the dresses are concerned.

Plus, up staging the bride is a huge no-no and is punishable by jail time in how many states now? ;-)
Does the bride rock the fashion world or does she fall flat on her face? If the later, help her out by telling her you really want to help with the dress decisions. If she does rock then you have nothing to worry about, right?

Pick out a beautiful dress with beautiful complementary colors to the bride and make sure it is not more extravagant then her dress in any way, again, this is obvious but you would not believe what I have seen in my years of doing this.

If you are like most men, possibilities are at some point in your life you’ll find yourself purchasing jewellery for a woman. Most women love jewelry, and many men see it as the perfect gift for almost any special day. Before the relationship is serious, the person can purchase little jewelry gifts to win the lady’s affection. After the relationship becomes heavy, many men continue to get jewelry gifts to bring a smile to their special someone’s face or to hold a celebration for a important day.

When purchasing jewelry for someone else, it is important to take under consideration a few things. First, what does your special somebody already have in her jewelry box? If, for instance, she has a set of diamond earrings that simply sit there and are never worn, possibilities are she doesn’t desire another pair that closely resembles those earrings. Instead, look at what she does wear. Does she wear drop earrings or post earrings? If she seems to prefer drop earrings, you might easily get her a set of diamond drop earrings that is simply surprising. Or, if she likes post earrings, there are countless different styles and colors. There are also great gemstone engagement rings.
